Product Description

This versatile, easy to use altimeter audibly reports your rocket's peak altitude after flight via a sequence of beeps. It can also control the ejection of your parachutes; one at apogee and an optional second larger chute can be deployed at a lower altitude to minimize drift on windy days. The most recent flight curve (altitude vs. time) can be downloaded to your computer using the optional data transfer kit DT3U.

Features

  • Precision sensor works to 25,000 feet MSL.
  • Audibly reports peak altitude after flight.
  • Stores over 5 minutes of flight data at 20 samples per second for later download to PC or Mac.
  • In-flight telemetry output for real-time data via your RF link.
  • All data is stored in nonvolatile memory and is preserved even if power is lost.
  • Deploys drogue and main chutes with audible igniter continuity check.
  • Main chute deployment altitude is adjustable from 300’ to 1,700’ in 200’ steps.
  • Mach delay is adjustable from 0 to 14 seconds for high performance flights.
  • Robust power supply is not affected by up to two seconds loss of power in flight.
  • Will fire 10 parallel-redundant ematches even after 24 hours operation on standard 9V battery.
  • High accuracy A/D and precise factory calibration yeilds +/- 0.5% typical accuracy.
  • FLASH program memory for future firmware updates (free of charge to original purchaser.
  • Rugged SMD construction, stringent QC testing, and internal self-diagnostics assure reliability.
  • Measures just 3.0” L * 0.9”W * 0.7”H, fits in 24mm tube, weighs 0.7 oz.
  • Backed by a full three year warranty.
  • Normally powered by a standard 9V battery, use our BH24 or BK24 for 24mm installations.
Advanced features require PC/Mac connect data transfer kit to access:
  • Programmable low battery alarm for different battery types (default 8.4 volt setting for 9V alkaline.
  • Test fire either ematch channel from the computer.
  • Enable/disable optional one second apogee delay for dual-altimeter installations.
  • Enable/disable in-flight telemetry data output.
